Last summer I was provided with the opportunity from Credit Suisse for an internship. I worked with a group of 6 interns building a web application. It was the most challenging and rewarding experience I have ever had! In August of this year I received the best news, a job opportunity to work for Credit Suisse as part of the Technical Analyst program! This is an absolute dream come true to work for such a great company!
Cheerleading is a passion of mine. I was a cheerleader since the 3rd grade and was on the varsity cheerleading team at East Carolina University. Cheerleading at ECU was so much fun and a very beneficial experience for me. Working out/team activities 30 plus hours a week plus school work provided me with great time management skills.
My freshman year of college I joined Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. This ended up being one of the best decisions I have made thus far! I gained 100 girls to call my best friends! I knew right when I started ADPi that I would enjoy taking on a leadership position. I became the president of my pledge class as a new member. I enjoyed that position so much that I took on Director of Standards and Ethics as a sophomore. Holding an executive position within the sorority as a younger member gained me the confidence and guidance to take on President. Being president I learned how to delegate (which was a hard task to learn at first! :) ), great leadership skills (I even got to attend 3 different week long semester all over the United States), and problem solving/risk management skills.
Through Alpha Delta Pi I have been able to get really involved in the Ronald McDonald house. The local RMH in Greenville is a place I visit very often. I love to take the families cookies and hang in the downstairs TV room with them hearing each one of the families stories. Last year ADPi raised close to $2,500 for the RMH!
"Ron-a-thon" supporting local Ronald McDonald House!
